Veterans Florida a non-profit created by the State of Florida to help military veterans transition to civilian life and to promote Florida’s status as the nation’s most veteran-friendly state, has partnered with Tampa-based Action Zone Inc. to facilitate the Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program.

Action Zone will offer Facilitated Startup and Facilitated Growth cohorts, and Provisional Boards to provide mentoring for Tampa Bay region veteran entrepreneurs. All meetings will be held virtually due to COVID-19.

“Action Zone has a tremendous track record of providing veteran entrepreneurs with the tools to be successful at all stages of their business ventures. Veterans Florida looks forward to continuing our partnership and in a year when all businesses must do what veteran
entrepreneurs know best: adapting and overcoming in chaotic environments,” said Joe Marino, Veterans Florida Executive Director.

“For the third year, Action Zone is pleased to continue our network partnership with Veterans Florida, providing our dynamic three-phase business startup program to Veterans through the Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program,” said Rosie Lee, Action Zone Executive Director.

“The success of our Veteran business owners is a testament to the dedication and collaborative nature of both organizations, and the individuals within them, who work tirelessly to ensure our military community members experience success in their business endeavors. Action Zone and Veterans Florida are the nucleus of veteran entrepreneurship in Florida; we work well together to expand opportunities for Florida Veterans,” she continued.
