Veterans Florida Executive Director Joe Marino issued the following statement today on Governor Ron DeSantis signing the state budget:
“Governor DeSantis today reaffirmed that the best home for veterans is Florida. Separating servicemembers, veterans, and their families may continue to access the Florida Veterans Employment and Training Services Program funded through the budget he approved. Florida’s ongoing commitment to economic support for veterans and workforce excellence for employers is needed now more than ever.”
The FY 2020/2021 budget provides Veterans Florida with $1,719,000 to fund the Veterans Employment and Training Services (VETS) Program and operating costs.
