Veterans Florida & University of Florida Seeking Vets for Six-Month Training with Stipend

The VETS-HASTE program, (Veterans Hardware Security Training and Education), is available for veterans with experience and interest in a career with digital devices or experience in STEM fields.

The program will provide industry-driven courses through the University of Florida (UF) and hands-on learning in hardware security. Veterans participating in the program have the opportunity to acquire hardware security skills, collaborate with mentors from industry partners, and find pathways into careers in hardware security.

Selected participants will receive a $10,000 stipend and an additional $2,500 for travel to UF for initial in-person lectures and graduation while most of the training is done at home.

The program starts April 2024 and concludes in October.
