[Tallahassee, FL]Veterans Florida announced today the 2022 Veterans Florida Expo presented by Bank of America will be held Friday, June 17th and Saturday, June 18th at the Hilton Orlando.

All veterans, active-duty servicemembers, Guard and Reserve members, military spouses, and their families are invited to Florida’s official economic opportunity event for the military community to connect with veteran-friendly employers at the career fair; watch the Florida’s top veteran entrepreneurs compete in the statewide Battle of the Pitches; ease their transition with the Florida SkillBridge Initiative; attend workshops and panels led by industry experts; and explore the resources and quality of life that make Florida the top state for veterans.

“Florida is open for opportunity, and this year’s Expo features our most expansive showcase of the state’s unparalleled career, entrepreneurship, and benefits resources for veterans and their families over two days,” said Veterans Florida Executive Director Joe Marino. “Whether you’re transitioning from active duty, searching for a rewarding career, or planning to launch or grow your business, discover the endless possibilities and experience the best of what makes Florida the nation’s most veteran-friendly state.”

The Veterans Florida team will offer one-on-one resume reviews, interview prep, and career advice ahead of Saturday’s career fair and host a networking event in the evening.

Saturday, June 18th: Job-seekers meet employers seeking to hire veterans in industries like aerospace, engineering, defense, and more at the career fair, and tap into the state’s premier veteran resources and benefits with the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs and others. Veterans watch Florida’s top veteran entrepreneurs vie for funding and bragging rights in the Battle of the Pitches in our largest ever statewide pitch competition.

Attendance is free for veterans, active-duty, guard, reservists, and military spouses. Registration is now open at veteransfloridaexpo.org/register. Organizations interested in becoming an exhibitor or sponsor can find more information at veteransfloridaexpo.org/sponsors.
