Joe Marino, Executive Director
Joe Marino joined the Veterans Florida team in February 2015, and in 2018 he was selected by the Board of Directors to serve as the Executive Director. Joe also serves as a gubernatorial appointment to the state’s designated workforce board, CareerSource Florida.
Joe has nearly 25 years of experience developing or supporting Florida policies for our veterans having worked as a committee staffer in the Florida House of Representatives, a legislative deputy at the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and in the Governor’s Office of Tourism, Trade and Economic Development (now the Florida Department of Commerce).
A 1993 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Joe Marino served as a commissioned air defense officer in the U.S. Army.
