Sheila Helton, who joined Veterans Florida in February 2020 as the Entrepreneurship Program Coordinator, now serves as the Director of Grants Management. She manages contract and grant administration across all Veterans Florida opportunities. Her role involves maintaining close collaboration with partners utilizing the workforce training grant and delivering entrepreneur program opportunities around the state.

Prior to joining Veterans Florida, Sheila worked with the Florida Lottery, Southern Travel Directors Council/Travel South USA, and VISIT FLORIDA. She is a Tallahassee native and an alumna of Florida State University. Sheila is a dedicated military supporter, with several family members having served, including grandparents, father-in-law, uncle and cousins.
